HD Construction Equipment: A Long-Term Commitment to Indonesia Together Supporting Sumatera, Be The One, Be The Number One!

Effective January 1, 2026, HD Hyundai has officially unified its two construction equipment business entities, HD Hyundai Infracore (DEVELON) and HD Hyundai Construction Equipment (HYUNDAI) into a single integrated entity, HD Construction Equipment. This strategic move forms part of HD Hyundai’s global strategy to strengthen synergy, enhance efficiency, and build long-term capabilities to support the evolving needs of the construction and mining industries across key markets, including Indonesia.

In Indonesia, HYUNDAI and DEVELON have been present and growing for many years, supported by strong and enduring partnerships with experienced local partners. This presence has extended beyond product supply to the development of a comprehensive ecosystem encompassing reliable after-sales support, human capital development, and operational assistance across strategic regions throughout the country.

Through HD Construction Equipment, this commitment not only continues but is further reinforced. Together with our respected local partners, we remain committed to growing alongside Indonesia and to actively contributing to national development by prioritizing product reliability, workplace safety, operational efficiency, and sustainability principles.

As part of our commitment to social responsibility and community support, HYUNDAI, through its strategic partners PT. United Equipment Indonesia (UNIQUIP), has deployed three units of Hyundai HX210HD, while DEVELON, through Infra Traktor Indonesia, has contributed aid and support excavator unit of DEVELON DX220A directly to disaster-affected areas in Sumatra. These units are expected to operate effectively in supporting evacuation efforts, access road opening, and debris clearance in challenging terrain. This initiative reflects our belief that construction equipment plays a vital role not only in infrastructure development, but also in supporting recovery efforts and ensuring community safety.

For us, this may be a modest step, yet one filled with purpose a tangible commitment to being present when it matters most, and to continuing our contribution to building resilience and restoring hope.

Let us unite in prayer and support for a smooth recovery process, and for Sumatra to rise again, stronger than before. Let’s together Be The One, Be The Number One!
